Last summer, several of you participated in a survey that I put together regarding your experience in fitness classes, and with personal trainers in general. I promised that I would keep your names out of the article and I used your responses to educate today’s fitness professionals on how to attract seniors into their business.

The Personal Training Development Center is a website that seeks to inform personal trainers on all things related to keeping their clients in shape. My mission is to share my experience with new trainers in the hopes that this will lead to more choices and opportunities for you to keep fit!

Please take a moment to go to the website and read my first published piece. Here is short synopsis of the article. Just click on the “personal training for seniors” written in blue and it will take you to the article.

“In my 20 years in the fitness industry, I’ve seen many personal trainers wanting to know how to coach celebrities, athletes, or young moms, but there’s an entire demographic that most personal trainers don’t even think about: The 70+ crowd. I have been working with this demographic for the last 15 years. They’re affluent, eager to get started and they can be the most loyal clients you’ll ever have, but before getting started you need to educate yourself on the particular challenges associated with this clientele. I discuss everything you need to know in a new article on personal training for seniors, recently featured by the Personal Trainer Development Center.”

See you soon and thanks again for your input!
